Russell is a proven Service/Solution Architect, with primary expertise in Applications, Business Systems and outcome assured delivery. He has experience of working in operations, new business, change and transition, primarily in the Public Sector but also in the private sector e.g. EasyJet.
He has extensive experience of taking a set of outcomes and leading on the solution(s) from concept, decision, design, development, deployment and delivery (5 Ds) in an operational environment. His key focus is in ensuring the correct solution is deployed within the account/contract in order to drive the right behaviours within the service operation.
Whilst at Serco, Russell was reporting directly to the MD to carry out performance reviews for Serco’s key strategic contacts to ensure that the service designs and relevant Critical Success Factors (CSFs) were being delivered and identified savings of ~£13m for the primary contract group.
Since joining Future Proof Learning, Russell has been working with NHS National Services Scotland to identify potential long, medium and short-term improvements to their services, initially Medical. This resulted in the identification of a 27% reduction in operating costs whilst increasing productivity and the customer experience.
