As the late great Curtis Mayfield said: “People get ready. There’s a train a-coming. You don’t need no baggage. You just get on board.”
There is a train coming, it’s the future and it can be regarded as opportunity or threat, depending on your perspective. We definitely view it as an opportunity and are actively working on several new ideas that we want to introduce to current and new clients to help them equip themselves for their futures.
Future Proof Learning as a business is still very new but we are currently developing these areas.
- Executive & Personal Development Coaching to “future proof” individuals who want to ensure their skills and knowledge are current and to provide a platform for their sustained employability and career success. We have designed a new methodology that we believe will equip people to identify and begin to acquire the skills and knowledge required.
- Setting up discussions with schools (teachers and students) into what the future world of work is likely to require from school leavers.
- Research into the impact of the raised retirement age and how to retain skills, knowledge & motivation for older workers. Locating and using the “sweet spot” between experience and retiral, where employees are possibly at their best and most useful.
