Be bold and do work that matters. We believe that our work makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we work with. The more we can do and the more that we give back, the greater the impact.
We’re also committed to making a difference more widely and donate at least 10% of our profits to charitable causes.
Supporting the Third Sector and Charities
Future Proof Learning regularly works on a pro-bono basis with third sector organisations and charities, including:
Castlebrae Community High School in Edinburgh
At Castlebrae Community High School, we designed and ran an all-staff weekend conference that significantly improved team morale and cohesion. We also ran a strategic planning exercise with the school management in order that they could plan their proposed move to the newly built school. In addition, we carried out a number of enterprise activities with the school, including participating in an annual conference and running our business simulation platform which proved popular with pupils.
Career Ready Charity
Career Ready is a national social mobility charity which works with employers, schools, and volunteers to support young people across the UK. We’ve been key supporters for over 5 years, providing a team of 10 staff at various points to run workshops on how to access the workplace to several hundred students.
St Augustine’s RC High School
Future Proof Learning has recently been working with them on their new school improvement plan and providing coaching support for senior staff members.

Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home
Future Proof Learning supports this long-established charity by providing facilitation for Board Strategy sessions, coaching senior staff and working with the Executive Team to plan and manage change. In addition, we are looking at how we develop their next generation of leaders.
Victim Support Scotland
Future Proof Learning has provided a range of pro-bono and low-bono services, including coaching, free places on our prestige open programmes and discounted facilitation and team development sessions. In addition, we have supported their digital transformation through helping to recruit a skilled transformation director as well as helping them create a new service and business model that saved them considerable sums of money.
Future Proof Learning runs senior team strategy meetings annually and provide free coaching to senior and high potential staff to support them in their work with a school that provides education for some of the hardest to reach children in Scotland, with complex needs and challenges. We have coached several members of staff and we also supported an annual fundraising dinner using a unique wine tasting theme that involved several of our staff and raised a great deal of money for the trust.

We’re proud to share that Future Proof Learning Ltd has officially signed the Midlothian Business Green Pledge, joining a community of businesses committed to making more sustainable choices and contributing to Scotland’s Net Zero journey.

Cyrenians
Cyrenians is a charity that supports people who are excluded from full participation in society. Future Proof Learning is a fully accredited partner and provides a range of services including:
Strategic guidance and development for the trustees
Executive coaching for senior and high potential staff
Free places on our public skills & management programmes
Running a joint conference with Cyrenians & SCDI on employability
Gorgie City Farm
Based in Edinburgh, Gorgie Farm is an urban farm operated by an education and social care charity named LOVE Learning. We provided financial donations to them to try to support the financial rescue of the famous facility. We also offered pro-bono coaching sessions.
St Columba’s Hospice
We have run several pro-bono workshops for the Education department as well as staff wide workshops, building on a staff survey conducted which highlighted several challenges around organisational culture and work environment. We have also offered pro-bono coaching sessions to the Director of Education and Research.
Children 1st
We’ve made monetary donations to them as well as varied work with them over the years, such as staff away days.
